Meeting for Reporting centre solidarity groups

Monday 24 June, 6:30pm

Right to Remain is holding a meeting for groups across the country who have been organising at immigration reporting centres in response to the Rwanda plan.

On the last weekend of April, the government announced a sudden operation to start detaining people for removal to Rwanda. There was an immediate response from our communities. Groups organised at immigration reporting centres to support those who were signing, to warn them of the dangers, to pass on information and to help people to find lawyers. There have been protests and direct action too.

This meeting is a space for people who were directly involved in solidarity actions to come together to reflect, to share experiences and information, and to discuss what we can do to build on this mobilisation.
