We will be in Liverpool on Tuesday 28 January 2025 to learn from each other about reporting solidarity. What is reporting solidarity? Read on…
At the height of the Rwanda detention crisis last year, many people across the UK decided to show solidarity with people who had to report to the Home Office while being fearful of detention at the reporting centre.
Liverpool has a reporting centre called The Capital Building. A small group of local campaigners has been regularly supporting people – people seeking asylum and other people with insecure immigration status – who report there.
This Solidarity Session introduces some basic information about reporting and detention and provides space for people to discuss how to strengthen this solidarity work in Merseyside. The session will run from 18:00pm to 20:45pm at a venue in Liverpool city centre. You will be sent the location upon registration.
We have a strictly limited number of places available for this session – please book your place only if you are definitely attending the session. Thank you.
