Right to Remain’s Annual Gathering is finally back! This time, we will gather in Birmingham on Tuesday 19 March, to inspire each other, honour our community and reaffirm our commitment to #NoOneIsIllegal.
If you are interested in joining our Annual Gathering, please complete the questionnaire here. Please complete it before 5pm on 1 February.
Completing the questionnaire does not guarantee your place at the Annual Gathering – places will be limited and there will be a separate booking process which will open in February. However, it will allow us to plan this event better and approach funders to ask them to cover some of its costs, such as travel and accommodation expenses for people who are going through the asylum and immigration process and unfunded groups.
Our programme is likely to include the following elements but subject to change:
- Knowledge is Power – latest legal updates from Right to Remain
- Speed networking – meet groups from different areas of the UK
- Mini workshops – working with lawyers, detention 101, etc
- Solidarity Generator – skill share between groups from different geographical locations on solidarity tips and successes
- Panel discussions and debates on some hot topics
For organisations with an annual income of less than £50k, there will be free tickets. For participants from groups and organisations of an annual income more than £50k, there will be tiered ticket pricing system according to the size of their income.
At the moment, we can welcome up to 2 people per participating organisation.
There will be a limited amount of travel bursary available for people from groups with an annual income of less than £50k. You can apply for these by completing the questionnaire.
We build knowledge, we build radical solidarity and we build power. We look forward to seeing many of you from our Radical Solidarity Hub in March 2024 in Birmingham!
I am looking forward the Gathering, however I understand places are limited…
