#Voices2018 competition

News

Coram Voice – part of Coram the UK’s oldest children’s charity – is pleased to announce that they have launched Voices 2018! Voices 2018 is a writing competition open to children in care and care leavers, which aims to amplify the experiences of the care system and celebrated the talents and achievements of care-experienced young people.

Read our blog post here on some of the amazing entries from last year.

This is the third year of the competition with the theme this year being Who or What Makes You Proud. Entries can be submitted online up till 8 February 2018 and must be no longer than 500 words. These can be anything from a poem, short story or even rap and song lyrics! There are four categories: Primary School, Lower Secondary (11-14), Upper Secondary (15-18) and Care Leavers. Prizes include shopping vouchers of up to £100 and tablets!

Coram Voice is looking for support in getting the word out about this brilliant opportunity for young people. They ask if you could please support them by sharing information on the competition on social media using #Voices2018, or by retweeting from their tweets from @CoramVoice. They would also greatly appreciate it if you could let any young people who are eligible to enter about Voice 2018.
