Equip yourself against the state violence of the immigration and asylum legal system. Learn about the system, your rights, and how to help yourself and others to get through it.
Using our unique Toolkit as a roadmap, the Right to Remain team will provide an introduction to the asylum and immigration process, pointing out your rights and steps you can take to support yourself or others within the system. These sessions will be held for people within the immigration system, and for community supporters too.
This workshop is run as part of Solidairty Knows No Borders’ #10YearsTooLong: Week of Action to End the Hostile Environment! 13-19 June 2022
The workshop lasts 1.5 hours, and will be run twice: once in the morning and again in the evening. There is no need to attend both, as they are exactly the same content.
