This week, there’s been devastating stories of lives lost because of borders.
Over 40 people killed in a detention camp in Libya. People seeking safety, security – pushed back by Fortress Europe.
The desperate news of the man who died falling from a plane.
We will not forget them.
And we will continue working with others for change. There’s so many of us who want a better world.
Also this week, over a million euros was raised in support of Sea-Watch captain Carola Rackete, who refuses to let people die in this way.
We are many.
Rackete was arrested then released by a judge who said saving lives was a duty.
Rackete said, “I was very touched by the solidarity expressed to me by so many people”.
Don’t give up. We believe in life, love, and solidarity and we will win.
