The Stansted 15 are 15 activists who successfully grounded a mass deportation charter flight in March 2017 by locking themselves down in front of the aircraft’s wheel.
On Monday 10th December – International Human Rights Day – they were convicted for preventing this charter deportation flight through peaceful direct action.
Less then 24 hours after the verdict, thousands of people gathered at Home Office HQ, and at other locales across the UK.
Tomorrow is International Migrants Day and more actions are planned in 17 (!) cities in Britain and Ireland. Many of the actions are being organised by local groups, in coordination with End Deportations and Unis Resist Borders Controls.
Below are the confirmed events. Click on a city’s name for the Facebook event page.
