Last week the deportation charter flight to Nigeria was cancelled. Today, Bita Ghaedi was saved from removal to Iran, and tomorrow’s charter flight to Cameroon is off.
A brief respite, but people are still in detention. The UK Border Agency will try again, and the airlines will carry out their dirty work, making money flying people to imprisonment, torture, death…
