The government has announced a programme of immigration raids on our communities and workplaces, and claims they will deport more people than the previous government. Key to this plan is the opening of two more detention centres. That’s why Right to Remain and These Walls Must Fall have joined up with the No To Hassockfield campaign in calling this national demonstration against detention.
We are calling for the government to SHUT DOWN HASSOCKFIELD and END DETENTION!
It is important that we make as much noise as possible to show solidarity, and so that the women imprisoned there can hear. Please join us and stand in solidarity against this abhorrent facility. If you can’t come, you can help someone else to go by donating to the transport fundraiser – see below.
Coach travel to the demonstration
Travel with us by coach from Durham, Newcastle, Sunderland, Manchester, Liverpool and Sheffield. Transport is FREE for anyone cannot afford to pay. If you can afford it, please make a donation (details in the sign-up form).
These Walls Must Fall is organising coach travel from Liverpool and from Manchester. The No To Hassockfield campaign is organising coaches from Durham, Newcastle, and Sunderland. And you can travel from Sheffield on the coach organised by South Yorkshire Migration and Asylum Action Group, SYMAAG.
Click one of the buttons below to book a place on one of the coaches.

Support the demonstration: donate to the fundraiser
We want to make sure that people without funds due to immigration rules, or for any other reason, can still travel to this important demonstration.
If you have reserved a seat on a coach, you can use this form to pay for your seat. Pay what you can afford.
If you can’t make it to the demonstration, but would like to help someone else to go, your donation would be very much appreciated.
The demonstration, the transport, and this fundraiser are being jointly organised by the No To Hassockfield campaign, These Walls Must Fall, and Right to Remain.
All donations will be securely managed by Right to Remain.
